The Point: No Matter How Hard Things May Be, God Will Never Fail You
Oftentimes, my wife thinks about her mom and she gets sad. She loved her mom, but she died several years ago. They had so much fun together. Her mom loved my wife, and my wife loved her mom. Jesus’ friends loved Him, and He loved them.
Jesus’ friends were sad. They missed Jesus and were concerned they would never see Him again, even though He told them He would rise again. They didn’t understand His death was necessary.
Jesus did rise again. He didn’t leave His friends in their sadness. He didn’t fail them. God loves you, and He will never fail you.
Dear God, thank You for sending Jesus to die for our sins. Thank You that Jesus arose and is alive. Thank You no matter how sad I am or how hard things are, You will never fail me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
