Core Seminars

Beginning September 10

What is Core Seminars?

Core Seminars is a series of discipleship tracks that take an in depth look at the overarching truths of God and His Word. Core Seminars meets every Sunday morning at 9:15 am and 11 am for one hour and offers multiple tracks, which are open to all.

Why Core Seminars?

What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:2 ESV

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 ESV

Which tracks are offered?

Core Seminars at C@M are designed to provide discipleship training in various fields of study. While we hope to expand the tracks offered, at this time, we provide 3 separate tracks:

  • The Membership Matters track consists of 3 required classes for membership. *
  • The Basics track grounds us in the basic disciplines of the Christian life such as Fear of Man and How to Study the Bible.
  • The Gospel Project track is a chronological, Christ-centered journey through the storyline of Scripture.

What should I expect?

Seminars offer topical, lecture style teaching with some interaction and limited discussion. They are open to adults and teenagers alike. Handouts are available weekly for note taking and deeper personal study. Each track is comprised of several different studies ranging from 4-12 weeks allowing for a flexible schedule.

When and Where?

Classes meet every Sunday at 9:15 am and 11:00 am in either the administration wing or in one of the lobby classrooms. Membership Matters begins on the second Sunday of every other month.*
