Plan Your First Visit to C@M
Sunday School @ 9:00AM | Service @ 10:30AM
We know that the first time visiting a church can be a stressful experience. When you think about it, everyone had to be a first-time visitor at some point. We want your first time at our church to be as enjoyable and memorable as possible. We have listed a couple of questions and answers to help with your first visit.
What should I wear?
We’re more concerned with meeting your real-life needs than with what you wear. Most people will dress in casual weekend attire, so dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in.
Is there anything for my kids?
Absolutely! Our children's ministry, C@M Kids, is led by Nicole Sheppard and Cheree Roberts. Classes are available during Sunday School (9AM) for kids aged 6 weeks to 11 years old. During our 10:30AM service, we have classes for kids aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. New parent check-in can be found just past the C@M Kids entrance doors. Background-checked volunteers are there to help you find the correct class for your child and to introduce you to our C@M Kids teachers.
How long is a typical Sunday service? What do you do?
Before Service, starting at 9:00AM, we offer Sunday School classes for all ages. Check out all of the information about Sunday School here!
Our service lasts around 90 minutes each week. We invite you to come early and stay late to meet new people and fellowship with one another. During the service, we encourage one another through fellowship, the public reading of Scripture, the singing of songs, celebrating the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper, and the public preaching and teaching of God's word. All of these together comprise biblical worship.
We begin our service with worship, and then most of our time is devoted to expositional preaching. This means we go verse-by-verse and book-by-book. We preach with passion and lead you to relevant applications. We recognize we have been given "the whole counsel of God" (Acts 20:27) and we believe all of Scripture is inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16). We want to dig into the Bible and through our biblical preaching and we want to make much of Christ as we nourish the hearts of people with God's Word. Our preaching serves as a spotlight to Jesus. We want to magnify the glory of Christ so our preaching is always rooted in the gospel, saturated by the gospel, and leading you to the gospel.
